Alone,
his parents parished in the fires
that rampaged through the house
after the bombing.
Frightened,
who will come to rescue him
from this hell
he now has to call his home.
Devastated,
destruction surrounds him
even the trees weep for losses
their tears flooding the ash covered ground.
An angel,
left upon the earth
no mother, no father to comfort and love
this child of war.

Of course, you could tell, I assume, that I chose option 1
Had to give it a go. The picture looks quite sad.
Thanks for reading.

Wow. I love this. I am so glad I put this picture up as an option and kinda not so glad at the same time. Hahaha. Because I am getting such amazing entries and it is making this contest even more difficult to judge. Haha. Like this one right here. Incredible.

Wonderful write. It puts me to pieces thinking of what we're actually doing out there because of this terrible war, but if anything you got a great perspective of how this was written. Excellent job. Good luck in the contest.
P.S. Love what you did with the background!

War
War and the mass genocides now taking place. I guees the price some children have to pay for mans avarice , hatred and greed. Deep write port.
