Lively skeletons
lift their barren arms
and release confetti
against the moaning sky.
Sucking life and stealing colour-
exhaling in gusts of chilling cries.
And I march upon
their dried corpses again
but soon they’ll replenish
the earth from which
they came.

wow
you managed to use a dark description to paint a vibrant picture. I think your portrayal of autumn is very original. Well done!
