Peace

Missing image

Photographic aftermaths, where war is never really won,

Loved ones dying for the peace we all seek

Hear my silenced prayer Lord, let us all be reborn as one,

And speak this golden tongue of love unique.

Our world can be stitched with dream weavers, threading our love global,

Through the humble souls who cherish their own

Where heartbeats of true compassion, so many souls still noble,

We’ll break these chains of hate our lives have known.

May we be guided by our utmost place of passionate grace,

Let light bestow the beauty we long for

Taste, see, and touch love, so we can regain humanity’s face,

Living the dream of love forevermore.

Peace.

    Wonderful

For those of us who have visited it, war is a lonely, barren place. It shapes our lives forever and makes us wonder our worth. Brothers in arms are the only saving grace.

Wonderful write my friend, as always, and Peace to you and yours.

    Beautiful Goal.

I know I've read this before, and gave you all my jumpies, but I read it again and I have more to say. To just think of a soul who not only longs for peace, but also reaches out to others and shows he cares with love each and everyday in some way, in big or small ways, shares his compassionate heart, and works so well with others, like in this collab I can clearly see. "You" are always showing how to live the life towards peace." Thanks for showing me the light, along with many others who adore you, and care because you have shown you care, and love your poetic works! As you can see, I'm a big fan! You are so sweet! I love how you love.

The picture is both lovely and peaceful, but yes, I think it is also lonely. Perhaps it is because we have not yet done what your poem suggests, come together with compassionate love. This is thought-provoking and well-crafted. Thank you for sharing it.

    Fantastic

This is a beautiful poem. It has a lot of imagery and metaphor which i often find hard to follow along with but this was very clear.
I especially loved the lines "Hear my silenced prayer Lord, let us all be reborn as one,
And speak this golden tongue of love unique."

It reminds me of the story 'The Tower Of Babylon' when all humankind were working together and loving one another and god. Unfortunately thats were my cynical side comes in because the next part is god seperating everyone by color and language so that they couldn't build a tower to heaven.

    But anyway i'm diverging.
Great piece wonderful imagery and message.
    Blessed Be

i love this it put so very well. i think we could all use a world like that one. there would be less stress, hurt and violence. sometimes i think we are running low on it. then you remind me were our true compassion comes from. the second paragraph
i love so much it put in such humble words that it reach out to you.
your are right i do love this one.
    much love your sis
