That day when I died.
I look upon it now and laugh;
euphoric hilarity from the womb of death.
No one can kill a person,
a person is killed by their own mistakes:
the omnipotence of time's cold hands
will acquit the crime of any evildoer
and pin all blame unto the victim.
I died yesterday:
why are you still obsessing?

Ah, a fine poem that goes deeply into the human condition of all things scattered. Happy days for good writing!

empowering
Sometimes in life there is a sharp line between before and after, which I have often regarded as the death of all previous. Victims blame others, that is their nature, but it is a self-defeating thought. It is empowering to take responsibility for all that happens and to move forward with new understanding.
Your poem is pitiless and speaks harshly, but that is all to the good, a slap in the face to wake up. The plurality of "person" is debatable, but in common use, we don't have a form without gender. Otherwise, good work.

this is well written... tight. Well grouped in a cryptic way. It shows some suggestion by the writer as to what is so horrible about it once one is gone. Intereseting take.
May I?
All the punctuation is not necessary in
my opinion. The first line elides to the
next one and therefore, should not have a
period.
"No one can kill a person,
a person kills themselves:" although it does
not really stand to reason, that is okay as
you are the author.
But the English should
be singular.
"No one can kill a person
'persons' kill themselves."
Otherwise, a very special piece!
I'm glad I read it.
Warmly, CookieZeal/Dianne

Hi there I think that this interesting I do know many think about those that have died it does not matter the length of time that they have been gone it also seems that this society does blame the victim many times for a crime that is not caused by them thanks for sharing good luck in the contest be well.
