This contest entry was inspired by watching the many quail around our home throughout the year! The seasons are implied in this poem!

    Same as your fine traditional Ku. I really like the jux between guarding and prosperity, though I don't care for two - ing - words in the same clause. Mabe something like ( many warning squeaks guard flock)

    Very difficult one but most rewarding
