The real story about Rudolf the red nosed Reindeer

        (Prompt number one)

R.R. (Rudolf Reindeer) was a pretty hip guy;
He cribbed over on the South side and the ladies knew him well.
R.R. skated on the edge of legal when it came to making a quick buck.
So on one particular day he was done up in a disguise
He put on heavy make up and painted his nose red to look like a circus clown
On that day the elf patrol finally caught him in the act; and he wound up in the can
It had to have been a good four days before he even got a chance to see anyone;
And after that no matter what he tried to do or what ever chemical he used;
Nothing took the red off or dimmed the shine on his nose

So anyway he had to move up north to work for some strange looking old man.
The old guy dressed in red and was delighted that R.R.’s nose matched his outfit
Everybody made toys up there and stored them away for a day already designated.
He told Rudolf that he was going to be a headlight for his special sleigh;
And along with others was going to more or less be his private cab service.
To this day he and the other use to be gangsters are still serving their sentences.
Most people think it's just too cool for school but R.R. and the guys just don’t get it.
Their also unhappy about having this old fat guy give them the dust to fly high;
Fly high they do but they have to work like slaves; ah but that’s Christmas I guess
