molecules quiver at speed
against my skin, soap bubbles
ebb and flow away from frantic fingers
the steel lies deep, the call is strong
a siren song
and i wonder why i lied again
shocking fingertips brush my shoulder-
a warning, eyes are everywhere
the present anchors me to myself
experiential angst, a moment of weakness
and endorphic rewards mingle with
the water molecules, a mosaic
its beautiful
how can i be beautiful again?
