Once upon a time, many eons ago,
Lived a little girl who's name you've yet to know.
She was fascinated with music- her tastes changed all the time,
But she really hated those bands who only knew to mime.
She decided right away that she'd put this right...
And set off one fine day, in the middle of the night.
She looked high and low for those talentless bands,
Appearing at shows all over the land.
There were people everywhere with no talent at all-
Who charge the earth for tickets and refuse to perform.
They weren't the ones she was looking for, she needed a group of five.
(Five aesthetically pleasing females who cannot sing live.)
She found said band in the most bizarre places,
Where there were posters everywhere of their beautiful faces.
Said posters evoked feelings of undeniable rage...
So she resumed her plan to hide out backstage.
She worked out her plan with disturbing intensity-
And dug in her backpack for something with density.
The show concluded with an amazing finale-
As our 'hero' scurried to her place of hiding.
Once there, she went over her plan once more...
And waited for her target to walk in the door.
She pulled the axe back with a satisfying thwack!
It hit it's skinny target with an unresounding smack.
With a scream from the mouth and blood on the side-
She looked on in glee as her target slowly died.
(Everything went mad for a few seconds after-
But the only sound audible was her maniacal laughter.)
To prison she went and her punishment befitting
Was to listen to those songs, standing or sitting-
Those songs that were played all over the land...
In tribute to that girl from the talentless band.
(Yes, there's no sadder story in all the world...
Then that of Tonya Harding and the death of a Spice Girl.)

Author notes
Just to make the point clear- I do not wish the Spice Girls any harm! (I actually own some of the CD's!- Just don't mark me down for it, Ok?)

But man O man, the punishment...wow, your evil.

An Interesting Ride
I thought it was a fun read - rather amusing and strange at the same time. I liked the phrase "disturbing intensity." I hadn't ever thought of using those words together, but it was very descrpitive.

Can't make it easy can ya?...lol
Well this one's tough for sure...
I love the name Walking Oxymoron, cause really, I'm a walking contradiction myself, but shit, even tho I contradict myself that's fine, I contain multitudes baby....multitudes....lol
Toya, like that too...hmmmm, Japanese meaning "house door", or "door in the valley"...got Latoya too (bet ya just love that one), or short for Victoria, and Tonya...I know from having looked at your profile where you hail from so....
what to do wit chu.....
