An appropriate month
For the US economy to melt down,
Everything to fall apart,
Corrupt executives given
Blank check on US treasury,
Unemployed taxpayers somehow
Will have to pay for it all.
Troops tangled up in unending conflict,
Bleeding us dry of human beings,
Financial capital. Our leaders
Seem determined to squander
More and more. Bully.
Darkness increasing, increasing...
Bad news, worse news.
Wish that someone would
Nuke us and end it all, swiftly.
What a totally crappy month.
Can December be any worse?
