Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden fruit, you are so tempting.
My body aches with a burning desire to posses you.
I have no reason to want
I do not want, yet so tempting you are
Were you summoned from my own personal realm of darkness to destroy me?
In time my mind finds ways so I can forget you by scheming plans on how I could lure you to me.
After all, these other frail humans could be easily dealt with in a mere second.
But why would I expose my self and put my family in harm?
Especially when I know what I am about to do is wrong.
Why would I hurt my father and the identity he has created for us?
He saved me and showed me ways to no longer be a monster.
How could one insignificant person ruin me and all of this given to me?
I shall not want you.
So why is it that when they talk to you or think of you like that, a surge of jealousy fights me?
I will hold my breath and wait it out.
For now this is all I can do.
The longest hour of my eternity
I promise you will be the death of me
My forbidden fruit forever taunting me…
