I was doing great we had a huge snow ,
and a bunch of kids got together and piled up a bunch you know.
They shaped me into a man and placed a hat on top my head,
gave me some charcoal eyes and a pretty checkered scarf in red .
The next day I was standing proud,
when all of a sudden came the sun peeking through the clouds .
I felt like running but I had no legs,
and I began to feel my self melting away .
The mailman came by and I yelled you got a minute bud ,
How about packing on a littler more snow it would be just enough.
The mailman glanced his way and gave a wave ,
but he didn't help that poor old snowman that day.
He started to cry but then thought this I cant do ,
it would make me melt faster so he lost that muse .
Then the owner came out with his snow plow ,
and he made a sigh of relief thinking he would get some help now.
Oh no there sir don't blow it that way ,
you need to turn that thing around and blow it my way.
Cant you see I'm melting and the kids aren't home from school ,
hey there cant you hear me you fool.
About that time he felt something mighty warm,
and as he looked to his right there was a dog whizzing on his arm .
hey hey hey stop that you nasty thing ,
go find yourself a fire hydrant and leave me be .
Poor old snowman he began to seat ,
and everyone around him hadn't noticed him yet .
The a tiny little angel walking past with her mom ,
replied we need to give him more snow for he wont have long.
Whew the snowman replied in relief ,
and I think that little angel was sent just for me.
As they finished and was leaving she looked back after a while ,
and at that very moment this old snowman carried a smile.

what a sweet endearing story. I loved the humor in it, and how he watched as people just past him by, lucky for him, he had an angel. We all could use an angel at the right moment at least once in our lives.
