Beyond Yin and Yang, Blank and Blank

The yin-yang is a broken representation of truth.
The idea that the universe is a balance between black and white, good and evil, mind and body, void and space, is a falsity.
In fact, if one attempts to describe the truth verbally or even cognitively, they are describing the exact opposite of the truth.
The truth cannot be identified, it is beyond all comprehension, beyond all retention, reception, perception.
If one pursues the truth, they are being moved by the pursuit, not the truth.
For the truth does not exist, it has no definition.
We know nothing.
This is not a truth, for it is possible that we do know something.
But again, we know nothing, not even whether or not we know something or not.
The exception proving the rule, so to speak.
Every bit of knowledge we gain entrenches the illusion that we are centers of reality.
When in reality itself we are mere pawns moving around, doing what we do, for the sake of being real.
By reading this, by letting these words move into your mind, you are making yourself there.
The closest to real we are is when we are spurred by external stimuli, which is always, no matter what we do.
We are real because we think, we see, we feel, we "are".
No more there than any other thing you may see, no rock, no person, not me, not these words.
We are objects floating in a space floating in void, by sciences definition, but even that can be argued.
For science and religion are subjective perceptions of reality, pages and books and reports accepted as real after years of being read and applied to everyday life.
The truth exists beyond good and evil, beyond mind and body, beyond science and religion.
The truth spurs many great thoughts and ideas, but these ideas are just that: ideas.
There is no truth.
There is us, there is me, there is you, there is everything besides that.
And that's it, it's not the truth, but that's what there is.

Author notes

Some musings on truth that crossed my mind during last night's nature pilgrimage. I've been wanting to get a tattoo, but instead of the typical yin-yang, I'm thinking of a decaying yin-yang, broken, or a yin-yang on the verge of exploding.

truth is not a word merely a pointer,
    everything is, simply is
we have different views because we are in different places.
we are what we percieve we are,
we can not acurately know (truth)
    truth goes beyond the known.
we are indeed drawn to this word.
    but why
    incredibly deep write my friend
    God bless you...

That is some very truthful philosophy. Truth is inevitably what we take for granted as it's being and ourselves a part of. I often wonder how much the human race has become accustomed to simply accepting what we have been educated to believe, never bothering to investigate, to question or to wonder.

    Yin Yang Bomb!

It will destroy the universe in an explosion of truth that will scatter stars in its wake. This is a good attempt at explaining the concept of the Tao and truth. It has great depth!

I want to get a tattoo of yin-yang with the "tree of life" in it. I'm big on symbolizing things, and decaying or exploding yin-yang is a bit too dark for me, but interesting concepts. IMOO

About your poem! I love it. It's deep in context and dwells on illussion and manifestation very clearly and well spoken, and it flowed beautifully all the way to the end.
    A joy to read.

Yeah I'm told I over-analyze things too much. I'm a big fan of symbolism as well, most of my symbols and the symbolic meaning I find in everyday items tends to be dreary.
