An epigram
'Your Faults As A Son Are My Failures As A Father'----
I owned weakness to fault, as claimed my own.
I couldn't even know the limits of men
through truly knowing you and ways gently shown.
In wisdom's way I grew, I learned open.
Open in mind
Open in heart
Open in spirit
In being, life I have now fully claimed
the godlike fullness, guilty life once denied.
To know the self was, true, to know the named.
In this my wisdom's path I could abide.
Be mindful
Be heart centered
Be free in spirit
All lessons taught did come at heavy price.
I wandered far from love and patience ways
in thinking I rose above your advice
This path of life I left, was said he strays.
Fault of self pride
Fault of selfishness
Fault of self righteousness
My faults, yes, you gave to me
But you gave me the strength and will
to overcome them
and that was 'your fault' also.
