Welcome to my home

So you want to eat dinner here,

Well first off you have to be alone,

I only own three chair you see,

And one is occupied by my books.

A thanksgiving dinner you say,

Well, I do not know what that is,

So I'll just do my favorite dish,

Hope you like a lot of fish.

The salmon's red meat,

Is what I adore the most to eat,

Cooked in vegetable and butter,

And wrapped in tin foil to make it better.

And to the fish I'll add some milk,

Just that it isn't really thin milk,

It has no English name I know of,

But its a very tick milk kind of butter.

While it all makes it self in the oven,

I will be serving you some finger food,

Crabsticks dipped in different sauces,

It taste like fish heaven!

So does all this fish I love so much,

Appeal as a thanksgiving meal,

For a lady used to other habits,

And totally different  traditions?

Sounds yummy, you wouldn't know, since Thanks Giving is an American holiday. But watch those crab sticks, you are allergic.

    Very Good...Congrats on the Silver

Perhaps this milk of which you speak is buttermilk?
I love salmon also. I liked it best when we lived on the west coast, wild, fresh and dark!

Nice poem, hon. Congrats on your silver trophy!

This sounds like a yummy meal and a nice change of pace. After all, it's boring to eat the same ole thing year after year. Thanks so much for sharing.
