On the road to AP: Lady Dementia

While traveling to a place they call AP,
Everyone says it is a site to see.

I met a woman dressed in black,
who sat by a tree of onyx and gold.
She said her name was Lady Dementia,
a prophet she be of dark hidden fantasy.

On your path, she tells me kindly,
you will see the world is not
what is seems to be.
She tells me of
the beauty in the shadows
and
the horror of the light.

She says on my path
I will see the wonders of fear
and they will capture my soul.
She talked like a mystic,
and pointed down the road.
She said continue on,
if you are that bold.

Author notes

this is part one to my Road to Ap, Series, where i will put in my own words the styles of the people who effect me on this site. The first is my dear friend Lady Dementia,

i picked her cause she is a good friend and a loyal commenter, she pushes me alot to get my muse working and her poems are amazing, she has this kind of way to her writing that is like something not even Hallmark would do justice too. i am talking about those epic movies they do not the cards. She is kind of a slave driver with the poems, but to be honest i don't mind when she whips me where and there. She is a wonderful poet and friend, so she get to be first is this new series i am trying my hand in.check her stuff out

I don't know when the next one will be but i hope you enjoyed this.

And any one who like supernatural, smallville and Doctor who, (as much as me, is killer in my book)

enjoy

The way you talk about your friend, you would think this was a part of a book. Great work with this the flow was really good. You can see what is going on with your words. SH

    Yay!!

Great poem, man. We all loved it, obviously. Fabulous use of imagery and the often ill-portrayed English language. I hope you write more of this series soon, because... so far these poems are... god just so captivating.
