The Adamant Iron Cross
To be human is to error
In whatever man may choose
No matter what endeavor
Something, he will lose
Giving one's self over
Without a thought to terms
Is the falocy of passion
For all must sadly learn
But this day one has learned
From a crippling loss
A soldier of the wounded heart
Dawning the iron cross
A shield through which none shall break
Unyielding to the touch
No words or whispers can ever shake
The metal of the such
It keeps at bay the predators
Looting all your worth
Destroying structures set in place
Constructed from man's birth
So one has seen what pain can bring
From the distant world across
Armed and ready for what's ahead
With the adamant iron cross
Please tell me what you think

Ahaha. This one slipped by me... somehow... < <:: But, I see it now and am commenting. ♥ Cho'yes. I rock like that.
But, seriously, Justin... I fuckin' envy your ability to rhyme.
I've told you this countless times in the past, and i'll keep telling you this again and again until... uhm'... well, until I feel that I can rhyme as well as you? x3 Yesss.
AND, this kinda' reminds me of Jesus? In a way? I dunno; I think it's the whole "cross" thing. LIKE, a modern Jesus, if that makes sense. Mm'hmm'. Not sure if you meant it that way or not, but that's what I saw... strange, since I'm not very... uhh'... religious. x3
BUT, YES. Another beautiful poem, my love. ♥ Keep it up, and other such inspirational words!
