we were beautiful in black and white.
our perfect smiles matched the snow beneath our feet.
but darling;
snow melts beneath the spring's shadow
and turns romance a deeper shade of ugly.
& ice cracks and grazed knees [hearts] are
inevitable.
and I'm sorry I let the colour bleed in.

I really love this. The beginning sets a beautiful picture and the emotions in this are so powerful. The way that you've worded everything is just perfect. The beginning and ending sentences are amazing.

I love it.
" and turns romance a deeper shade of ugly "
that's so good!
