Love's Sweet fire is too bright
and passion knows no rest
hot as a summer night
burning in my breast.
These hungry flames must be fed...
My body and my heart,
is Love's wine and bread
according to the art...

Shared in sacred art ...
love truly becomes holy communion ... Wine and bread.
Well done.

I absolutely love the sheer simplicity of this
and it is within that simplicity
you manage to show your strength
love is too bright
it Is passion without rest
you have captured love
we partake of it
we consume it
much like sacred
wine and bread
it sustains us
applause, this is most certainly a winner

Energies compacted abundantly can cause fires that burn longer than the time compressed in a certain space. Perhaps such a situation is a metaphor of love. Great sucinct poetry appropriately dyed in crimson hues. I wish you the best of luck in the contest.
