Soulmates

There is a soul that I have known,

 

that only I can see.

 

His hidden love is deep within,

 

directed straight at me.

 

In need I call him by my side,

 

always he is there.

 

He is my courage, he shields me;

 

from all that I despair.

 

Together we've journeyed through our lives,

 

through chaos and through pain.

 

Inseparable connected souls forever will remain.

I wrote this for my husband years ago, we have had quite a ride. Life can be so unpredictable but the only thing that has never failed us is our love...
