Cat eyes open, thrilling wide,
it was only a little swing-arm ride.
Happened sudden and very quick,
not like he was chasing a stick.
Wasn't my fault, the kitty got scared.
She's the one who hung on and stared.
Guess for her, my dog had a thing,
he flew through the air like shot from a sling.
Named him after his famous dog pa,
Snoopy the dog and Kitty Cat Claw.
Don't know how he could be like that
and eat my arm to save that wide eyed cat!
So if your kitty ever chases a string,
whatever you do don't give her a swing,
with eyes for dog or the one you bring,
she's liable to get your arse put in a sling.
