Moment

faint outside hum
tv fuzz
but so much softer

smell
cinnabons and holidays
hardly a memory
but definitely a start

and lullabies
not for me
but still magnificent just the same
tingling on my ears
causing me to
lose focus
and then
dream

of love
and more memories to come

isn't that how it's supposed to be?
lull me by, lullaby

in this moment that speaks true to its name

Anything that can help me make it better..

this part for me was perfect, this is the epitomy of the poem. a wonderful part, and the colour used to write in enphasised the softness of the poem, great work,

Very tranquil moment it sounds like I love those moments. Where everything is still and quiet, and even though things might not be okay, they atleast feel okay.
Awesome poem. I really liked it x

i really like this one, too, and the soft colors you chose add to the fuzziness of the memory. Was the person falling asleep? that's what it sounded like, i'm not sure though. Excellent pen.

No, I wasn't sleeping, I was just talking about the moment I was experiencing, lol.
