The Double Bar Line

Clutch at the strands of our fraying love;
They burn and blister as they slide through my hands
Like the sands of time
'Til there's nothing left.

My own personal
Apocolypse.

Author notes

Point of intrest: in music, the double bar line suggests the end of the piece. We bassists like to go out with a bang, so it's often the best part. in my not-so-humble opinion.

    I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
