Grind my concepts of hate and despair
The punk inside me wants war no more
As I've seen something new to fight for
Tell me I'm not that people's horrid being
The shocking freak show by the loveless soul
Is that something not ugly that you're seeing?
I love how is your gentle spirit touching
My always stabbed core that now is clutching
To such delicate fairy, healing my past wounds
I have never deserved to be so unloved
Swallowing lies and cheats from my beloved
Yet I endured it, waiting for a heaven's gift
Now my core and your heart can rhyme
I have to be good so I can hold your hand
We can walk together on spikes this time
Let's hope our love will be everlasting
Tell me we can sing with our passion's fire
In unison, creating such a symphonic choir

This poem is so beautiful and as the previous posters stated I must agree. This poem is a lot of things, but one thing it's far from being is sucky. I think you did a brilliant job with this.
