I found him when he was just a hatchling.
Cutest little turkey running on his two feet.
He took off a chasing me from that moment.
I had have him from the first and his charms.
Strutting about the yard like he was King Kong.
Feathers filling him out adding to his size.
Well, he rules the place with his gobble of fear.
What ever you are stear wide and clear.
He thought he would take over the house.
The door was left open, he chased a mouse.
A corn path lead him back to his home.
One more time in the house, and your on the table.
Let it be, the warning was said.
I don't think I could eat him from the table.
The turkey now has the "Theo" lable.
He still chased me about.
Darn it all, for me everyday he still looks out.
God help the fool that thinks he can cook this foul.
