I Hate That People Dont Know The Dangers Of Hating

Taught very young you must not hate anyone ,
for to hate another is a song unsung.
We each have a journey in this world to take,
so why darken our journey with hate.

Time wasted by this hate at hand ,
playing a deadly game holds the devils hand .
To hate another makes you look hard and feeling sad ,
its the path which many have taken within this land.

Look at yourself and look beyond the hate,
where is that fun loving person making such a mistake .
For to hate another we in turn hate ourselves ,
it shows upon each of us taking from our inner wealth .

Get in front of a mirror and think of the one you hate ,
see how your expressions changes such beauty it degrades .
Fowel things spurt from the lips that also holds love ,
tell me is it worth it to feel this hate acting with push and shove.

I hate this feeling so I just let it go,
for when I look into the mirror I so want to know.
That we each have a mind of our own to use at will,
so I choose to love and understand and eventually forgive.

Yes just children whatever the age,
for as we grow up we still feel the pains of rage .
Why is this I ask if we were just taught very young hate grows,
hate is not a song you want to sing all along you know .

It grows with every action we bestow on the world .
It shows upon the faces of our boys and girls ,
Taught by their elders who let hate take the lead in time .
tell me as you look upon your parents how has this helped them I cry ,

Healing == One can not know freedom of life if you hate,

Advice == And often through advice of those who love can show     youthe way.

Taken ==If we look upon ourselves and know this hate within so grows,
Eternity == we then in stopping the hate can see the blessings upon each of our thresh holds.
.

To be able to look into the mirror and know happiness within,

one has to stop the hate and in doing so see the love through your own grin .

Know life is what we make it so why not take the lead,

and stop the hate so our world could see peace .

Are you unhappy and cant seem to find your way,

believe me first you have to rid yourself of this hate .

For hate grows within you and will bring you down ,

to a place where love will no longer come around .

Author notes

Look beyond this hate and learn to love again for to hate another your life shall
reflect a sorrow to all about you taking away from the light given at birth tell me
in your life how badly does this hate hurt you for it is all in the steps we take  in life why wear hate like a should when we could feel love and wear a wondrous smile .

this is rather anti-hate don't you think? It's not that you hate hate it's that you're against it because if you hated hate you would in turn be a hypocrite of your own word. And by the way, I wasn't necessarily saying that you had to write about hating SOMEONE so much as hating SOMETHING. I don't hate people but there are things I do hate (chores, mexican food, certain songs on the radio, etc.) I agree with the message that the world is filled with hate, but there has to be a little bit of hate because without that little shred of hate, no one would ever know what true love was really like (even God hates sin in my beliefs). Having said that, the poem was well-written, but not exactly hateful. I want the poetry that captures the essence of hate, and then turns it into something poetic and beautiful. You have written something so beautiful but without using the most ugly of human emotions

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
You have much wisdom and I'm always eager to learn.
I think many (I know at least myself) are guilty of hate..
but the easy path is usually the wrong one. It takes
more effort to forgive and understand than it does to hate. This is a beautiful write. Thank you for sharing.

    I agree.

No man can say he loves God and yet he hates another human being. This is so true today as it was when Jesus walked the earth.

    you spell hating H-A-T-I-N-G

This is a good message, though I think in some cases hate is deserved, and it's only when you allow the hate to consume you, and color your other feeling, and emotions. For instance, I feel completely fine with myself in hating people that are willing to allow the constitution of California to be changed in order to take away rights from people just because they don't particularly approve. I do agree with you, though, for the most part. This was a very good poem, and I think the only thing that could stand to be improved is the aesthetics and uniformity of the line length. Good job ^_^

    Superb plus

A write with which I most certainly agree. Very well written indeed. Imagery; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one with us.
