Signposts of perpetual peace
are planted profusely for life to prosper
within the turbulence of troubled times
these markers,
a mainstay.
Grains of grief
are blown beyond belief
yet from birth
the signs are strong.
Learn to read each signal
for insignias are firmly tattooed,
as waves of doubt
become fervent quicksand,
when the core
slips through to loss of focus.
Storms will rage and ravage
and I must search for
each portent of peace,
with dreams that when
each mountain is conquered,
faith's fortune will trace the way.
