I walk along the water's edge on a cloudy day,
my wolf puppy next to me.
My my shoes and a boxin one hand,
I struggle to adjust my purple, satin dress.
As I move I catch a wiff of my husban's colone from his jacket.
I look at my sisters playing as the storm gathers,
walking up to the house to sit under a tree,
music drifts from inside.
gazing through the overgrowen vines on the window,
I watch my mother bake cookies.
My box sits in my lap, my shoes next to me:
tracing the black rose as I lift the lid, removing pen and paper.
I hum along to the music as I spill my feelings of the comming 'morrow on paper,
pausing now and then to gently stroke my pup.
