Dark like a shadow
moving through day and night
feeding upon the carrion
baking in sunlight
Master of the feast
sits upon her throne
stripping all life
to the very bone
angels have no ears
in this place of death
the lady of the darkness
spills in putrid breath

feeding upon the carrion <== love that! A dark tale that ends in very fine fashion, "putrid breath"

I love the way you speak for the picture here. Those beautiful birds but written darkly because of how you wrote it.
Best of luck to you.
