A Mere Ember's Glow

Missing image

My son,
  be ye not a coward,
  for thou art
  a Child of Light ~
  against thee
  no darkness,
  nay,
  not even thine own
  secret sins
  wilt bare thee
  false witness.

Whilst thy heart
  may feel as though
  in shadow,
  fear ye not ~
  a mere ember's glow
  in thy soul
  shalt deliver thee
  unharmed
  if thou dost keep

  thy faith alive.

Congrats to you also on the silver. I saw your poem before and didn't think I had a chance. Your words are just so beautiful, and the thoughts on the quote are perfect. I ALMOST picked that quote, until I saw your poem, LOL. Congrats again for a wonderfully written poem and I'll see you in the next round!

    Hugs!!!

    Hello

Absolutely lovey vision from your Prompt....wow ~

    I do get 61 words though.>>>  http://javascript.internet.com/forms/word-count.html

No biggie....just a tad deduction there

It has been a long time in between since I have read such a beautiful poetic voice.......most people are not in to using *thees & thous*, but if done properly and wisely, they can created a majestic Tone which has superb appeal.....nice job ~

I have nothing to critique here....each S* rocked....bravo....good luck & God bless you,

    Bear ~
