Human

Upon wings,
dreams carried away
reaching ethereal apex;
coasting upon that
place beyond stars -
sifting through hope
yet traveling, far;
swimming into mystery
reaching stellar evolution
spreading despite,
angst and, revolution.
It is there, still
nothing to stop it
but a body ,mind or  spirit
afraid to soar, to open
the heart, embrace
the moments and accept
what we are. Human.

    Indeed, WE are all "human"! Your words penetrate the heart, and share the reality that we are prone to make mistakes. Beautiful words from a beautiful poet. I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much Love ♥

    Interesting perspective here in this poem...the idea that humans are unfinished and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your poem.

    Good job...

    To err is human... However, you prove that to awe is human as well.

    I love this, it sounds almost sixties as I can hear it in my mind being read in the style they used to back then in the old days. Love the rhyme scheme and the bit about revolution.
