It was always going to be hard to see you go
I didn't know it would hurt this bad, but it tells me our love is true.
Author notes
Well, this does have a little pain mixed with the soppiness, but I knew it would when I started. Basically, I currently live 200 miles from my fiance because we're at different universities, and this poem is about the balance of the pain I feel when he's away and the complete bliss I feel when we visit each other.
