The God Of The Nile

The God who built rivers and streams
who gives one their innate dreams
the same allows us to grow in grace
wrapped in our own unique space.

Those mountains He made for our view
He made more than one, more than two
with clarity he invites us to rise and soar
Once a carpenter; now He's the door.

All by Himself, He made Himself our way in
then brought us out from where we'd been.
Including us all in His high heavenly home
so we as sheep would have a place to roam.

He's the foundation upon which we can hope.
He's our lifeline, our rescue, our tight rope.
In Him alone we rest, our faith in only Him
This works best when our way is dark and dim.

I'd dive into a swimming pool if it was water-filled.
He's that water, our soul's resting place sealed.
We needn't fear for He is there the total way
His specialty  is turning dark nights into day.

Beautiful piece... I would love to go to Egypt... it's supposed to be so beautiful, I must go take a look at the Pyramids and Cairo.

God has given us some beautiful things and some awful things, but they are all so complex and all needed to make the world run.

I love the thought, paraphrased, that faith works best when our way is dark and dim...and that He is with us turning dark nights into day. Lovely! Thank you for entering! Debbie
