Beckons the sea before her eyes
Poseidon's guiding hand
leads her back to forgotten deep
begone, the curséd land.
Beguiled by an Elven Lord
her home, for love, she scorned
mermaid of Atlantis
the sea, in sadness, mourned.
Painted words of dark deceit
woven deep with lies
lured her from her kingdom
she said her last goodbyes.
Seduced by his spellbound lust
a woman she became
too late her heart knew truth
her footsteps walk with shame.
Abandoned to her mortal tears
she sought the sea God’s aid
she begged him for forgiveness
for innocence betrayed.
As she walks towards the crystal foam
a mermaid soon reborn
to start her life, renewed
forget her life forlorn.
