She is resting there so peacefully,
an angel without wings
With golden hair, and skin so soft,
her lips do quietly sing
As the blanket that rests upon her,
it gently hides her curves
Her scent it is so fresh and clean,
it begs to be observed
She radiates a primal heat,
that drives a man insane
As beauty goes she rates a ten,
but really is quite plain
Her features share a masterpiece,
a crafted work of art
And center stage the gift of love,
buried in her heart
A simple girl with charming needs,
of honor, truth, and trust
She calmly walks upon this earth,
and fills my thoughts with lust
Waiting there deep in her sleep,
I softly caress her face
Smiling as she looks to me,
her eyes call for embrace
I feel her love inside my bones,
she sets my life aglow
Tasting her essence she beckons me,
our passions start to flow
I wish to be right next to her,
each morning when she wakes
Her eyes meet mine at crack of dawn,
she sets my soul to quake
And once again she swallowed me,
she’s breathed into me fire
For her I live this torrid life,
it’s only her; that I desire

WOW!!! Applause for this one, it's great, the rhyme scheme and the rhythm, you haven't got a word out of place here and the poem goes with the painting. By the way, if you did this painting you're fantastic.
