You were the sparkle in another's eyes,
For what they saw, was a beautiful prize.
Like looking up at clear blue skies,
Where a life with goodbyes,
Was not in supplies.
When you realize that you had remiss,
The space between you didn't exist,
In that last final kiss...
When you look up you see a disguise,
those once blue eyes.
They were a shade darker than sorrow,
The new goodbye of tomorrow.
Author notes
not a true story in my shoes, so sad if it would be.
(remiss means like a mistake.....wrote down so I wouldn't forget...)
lady bugs land on lee....right???
