Hushed the night while newborns sleep
An angel's vigil nearby keeps
Watching always her babes nearby
Listening alertly to hear their cry.
Gentle voice in kindly ways
Where'er she goes, her peace it stays
Always caring she makes her rounds
Leaving refreshed all she's found.
All respond to love she gives
How many little ones she's helped to live!
Contrasts in her life each day
Shows that she finds other ways
To touch other's lives with words
From her heart to pen, encourage
Lives from inner beauty find
Solace for the soul and mind!
