Warmth of the sun
Upon the keys
Stirs gentle souls
Like warmest seas
Flowing softly
Oh how we long
To travel on the
Tides of songs
Imagination
Charts the course
Savior from
Boredoms remorse
So play the notes
Sing me a tune
And little one
My heart will swoon

"Warmth of the sun

I agree with Mary Jo, I love the feel of this first stanza...they are all beautiful, and I love the traveling on a song's tide..
this is lovely, Rob!=)

i read this poem first without seeing the picture prompt and it definitly stands on it's own. then when i looked at the picture i thought it was perfect for it.
my favorite part: "Warmth of the sun
Upon the keys" - so much imagery in so few words.
good luck in the contest. you have crafted a lovely poem. i enjoyed this. - NANGALEEMA
