Speaking to feathers,
that lie upon your pillow;
which still bears your presence;
only to leave me once again;
longing; your soft satin lips to kiss.
Words I'll never leave you,
ring loud within night's silence;
tugging wounded heart, drawing tears.
Mind becomes scattered,
like tossed deck of cards;
filled with mixed emotions of joy and pain.
Happy we've had the life we've had;
saddened; it no longer exists.
Words I'll never leave you,
ring loud within night's silence;
tugging wounded heart, drawing tears.
Still I see your beaming face,
with gleaming emerald eyes;
smiling dimpled smile
saying;
"everything's alright".
Words i'll never leave you,
ring loud within night's silence;
tugging wounded heart, drawing tears.
Silence itself; now broken.

This is beautiful, so sad but filled with a longing for a love gone but not forgotten or lost...
Beautifully written from the heart...

Promises in passion are seldom kept. But they never fail to deceive
