Sometimes, despite living with another,
a person can feel desperately alone
In limbo between
partnership and freedom
When there is dishonesty,
disrespect, broken promises.
Things are not necessarily as they seem;
"the grass is always greener..."

This was amazing. I loved the flow and emotion behind it I understand the entrapment that you can feel when living with someone else.

Living alone while living with someone else can certainly happen and it's an original take on this prompt. "In limbo between/partnership and freedom" - true lines and well expressed. And you point out the importance of trust and respect.
Nice write. Thank you for entering my contest.
