even in death
it painted this darkened heart
every shade of her outlandish colour
resting within me a wish
for peace
now hers

Those who love us teach us to love and understand beauty as they have experienced it. And their concern for our happiness urges us on, and outlasts even death. A quiet, thoughtful and appreciative write.

The depth within this floats off the page just a little bit to give a glimpse of the emotions underneath and then flutters back to contineu shining on the page

Hoodwinked
Your writing has a sad note to it yet it is written so beautifully abstract. I loved the opening line "She pressed a rainbow into my heart". That is a lovely line.

Very sad
Conveys the sad feeling very well. Good job.
