Shouting from the Rooftops

I'm sending a scream out to all out there.
Hoping that we the people will hear.
Until we recognize the injustices done to all.
Our civilizations are doomed to fall.
Stop denying everything before your eyes.
None of it is a surprise.
Blaming one race, or color, or sex.
Even age now, can be blamed I guess.
I can't stand by and watch this game.
No more, we should be ashamed.
We the people are in charge you know.
It's time to take back the controls.
When all people stand as one, it's amazing the outcome.
So Shout loudly from the Rooftops.
We won't give any power to you.
That is unless you do, what we all want to!

Congrats. to us, The United States of America. A time to be very proud, President Barack Obama, and we the people have returned.

    What a thought-provoking piece on the hope that fills (at least half) of our nation now! Finally, we have a president who will take us back in the right direction, to the way America that was meant to be (at least in my opinion). Thanks for sharing this piece and best wishes in this new era!

    Way to go there. Im not usually a fan of end rhyme but this my dear friend is a really good piece.
    an example of what end rhyme should be like. the flow is brilliant too.
