That look of rejection spoke volumes
hollowed out wimpish demands silent
wrapped in the arms of velveted darkness
expanded by sad fragilistic demands.
Low-keyed relaxed all of its boundaries
rushing in the remains of its haul
nothing enlightening to share though
nothing helps nothing to flex fall
Noting the dual lifeless force weakly calling
dulled by the pain left to closed shutters
annihilation has grasped its last straw
nothing and no one to hinder; evermore.

Clever, clever wit in your ink and
soul!
I loved that line:
"annihilation has grasped it's last straw"
giggle...sis...like some republicans I
know!
sorry, couldn't resist!
I thought you really wrote this cleverly
on the word: resignation.
lovely prompt too!
