Or why you make me feel the way I do
For once I want to take a chance
Hold your hand while we dance
I can't explain why my heart goes thump when your around
Or how your voice is sometimes the only sound
I don't know why I like you at all
But yet you made me fall
Your personality really draws me in
I want the "us" part to begin
I can't explain why you make me rhyme
When I wanted free verse this time
Ms. Independent wants to be in your arms
I want to fall for all your charms
Four years I've gone all alone
Yet here you are all in my zone
And as I look at you these words go unspoken
Should I go on and collect my token
Or should I for once, just once go with my heart
And let this letter become more than a work of art
