Spider webs of time,
colors faded dull,
an image from antiquity
that speaks to me today.
Once bright and full
of energy, this image,
filled with life, was
captured in its prime.
The name has long
been forgotten,
but it whispers
a warning that echoes
down dusty corridors…
life’s promise is
only for today.
