It's been a rough busy day,
so wonderful to relax in this way.
Blissful dreaming with peace of mind,
moments like this, are the best I find.
As I lie down to rest my eyes
to the stress of the world I say goodbye.
Body so warm feeling so cozy too,
being alone is so wonderful to do.
My thoughts of mind lead to prayer,
God almighty helps bring me repair.
Really the health in this brings me truth,
with beauty sleep to maintain my youth.
When I don't take this rest I need,
then I come to a point that I must plead.
Help me God through my service for you,
that peaceful rest my heart will shine through!

This is wonderful. It gives such a peaceful, relaxing, blissful feeling. I loved all of this but especially liked the part, "My thoughts of mind bring me to prayer, God almighty helps bring me repair." This is so true. All of our aches and pains, worries and obessions seem to magically disapear after a good rest. Nice job!

Wow, this is a really beautiful poem. I enjoyed it very much. One error I saw was that the title is spelled with a 's' instead of a 'c' in 'peaceful' but that was all. Well done, and good luck.
