Draped

I want nothing more
than to pull down the night...

pluck it
spread it
drape it as a cloak
across slumped shoulders.

Let luminescent stars sear fragile flesh
rendering me unto nothingness
encompassing me into everything.

Author notes

30-60 words on prompt:
scarlet moonbeams swims in her eyes
like the color of nocturnal poem
bleeding like flesh wounds....Sweet Sorrow

This was deep, words draping my mind and keeping me visually peaked! Love the expressive and reaching words coming to life in my mind. Excellent work! Loved it ~Tia

This is beautiful! I think we all at one time or another wish we could simply disappear under the cloak of stars.

    Love,

As I sit under blanketed stars and read this it makes me smile because of the truth that ring in these words and how great it could be if everyone could have this capability.

    Lovely write!
