Of all the heroes and famous legends
I could aspire to be,
each has so many mixed blessings between enemies and duties,
so my eyes would crave a chance for perfect, sweet prize.
Oh let me become Willie Wonka for one day,
grant me chance to communion with the Oompa Loompas
who could resist their charms and got to hug one just once.
Take a ride on the Wonka-tania to see if that cocoa river made you sea sick,
and a run in that Wonka-vator to every secret place in the factory.
It would give me chance to dip the world in sauce,
have access to that laboratory to whip up
my own creative batch of sugary magic.
My goal would truly be charitable,
wanting to use the confectionary spell in a wonderful way,
for perhaps covering all the world leaders
with free gifts of my delights
until they couldn’t live without them.
Even I had only one day,
just to leave them begging for more
so they would gladly imbibe
in a some piece of my candy,
paying for it with peace installments
by turning all weapons into chocolate,
happily smothering any bullets in fudge.
Course, I would also blend in some Exlax
with certain bars,
as present for those that didn’t cooperate,
sending the Oompa Loompas to take away
all their means to abuse others
while they were stuck in the bathroom.
Then I could sit back at my ordinary routine
filled with smiles,
happily watching armies marching with guns
and tanks rolling past,
both gloriously melting in the hot sun.

This is a very good entry and i have thoroughly enjoyed reading. Ooooh to have that chocolate factory. what fun it would be.

This is a truly unusual hero, but how wonderful! I can just imagine all those tanks, melting in the sun... I'd want to get every container I could find to take home as much as I could! I think your flow and descriptions are great, and you clearly know the story very well! Good luck in the contest.
