she saw...

from her seat at god's right side,
her eyes no longer dimmed by age
she saw quite well, tho she had died
her grandson standing on the stage

fom her seat at god's right side
she watched him humbly take the reins
of govening his nation, pride
felt in her heart for all her pains

her eyes no longer dim with age
she clearly saw the past to now
how destiny had turned the page
of her life such thing to allow

she saw quite well, tho she had died
the future laid ahead of him
glad of the woman at his side
their children too. her sight not dim

saw as her grandson took this place
of such responsibility .
a smile spread brightly 'cross her face
she saw her part in history.
