It drove in chills to my spine
once I saw you had made your mind.
I lost my balance, completely lost control,
pain became anger and my love placed on parole.
I asked kindly for you to give me something,
any type of explination, at least more than nothing.
You gave me no hopes, no dreams;
my pride was torn down from the seams.
I cursed the moment when I saw your face.
I'm now in need of a heart's replace.
I broke that promise I swore to never break,
a distant voice always said this was a big mistake.
I can't wait one minute more,
things won't go back to the way they were before;
you don't love me and that's no lie,
so I hide myself behind this mask to cry.
It drove chills to spine to see you walk away,
my mind, my soul, my all was left in disarray.
My heart again to you implored,
"I can't wait one minute more.-
If you part my life you shall take,
I will become numb, my heart will break.
Don't leave me here I'm falling apart."
I should've listen to my head from the start...

Great poem. I like it alot. You have expressed very well the pain and despair of a love that is not returned.
