They wonder what it's like,
to be high above, yet out of sight.
All day up in my ruling chair,
Making decisions, yet some may come across unfair.
What they do not realize, even through their most difficult times,
is that everything happens for a reason.
All reasons are valid, all reasons are fair...
Yet so many people don't seem to care.
What they do not realize most,
is that my intentions are always good.
And that I would grant everyone eternal life,
if only I could.
So many people pray to me,
and I grant them their peace.
Sometimes their askings are too extreme,
sometimes what they pray not to happen, for it is what's really meant to be.
I understand that some people don't believe,
while others live and breath every word in my written passages.
So many people use my name in vain,
but I realize it's only because they believe I caused pain.
But what they don't realize is that I, God, am only one man.
I have created this world, and everybody from toe to hand.
I will be here for each person, through their struggling times...
I will be here for each person, throughout my eternal life.

An interesting take on the prompt. One of looking to be a hero of all who look up.
The points of giving all eternal life sound good, and knowing that whatever yopu do is sometimes never taken as heroic,,,good piece and worth the reading for those who prefer a worldy hero rather than a super hero,,, the image of god dressed in lycra has me in giggles tho,,, good job all the same.
